Eight species of fungi were consistently obtained from crown rots of Nigerian bananas cv. Robusta. The predominant species were Botryodiplodia theobromae PAT. and Colletotrichum musae (BERK. & CURT) VON h x . Others include: Ceratocystis paradoxu (DADE) C. MOREAU, Pusarium aolani (MART.) SACC., Fusa
