โœฆ Synopsis

The design of an orthogonal polarization axicon beam splitter that operates in the IR, visible, and UV ranges is presented.

ลฝ The device generates orthogonal right-handed and left-. handed circular polarization states. The OCPABS consists of an absorbing substrate coated with a single-layer thin film. The power reflectances range between 25.19 and 56.24% in ลฝ . ลฝ . the infrared IR , visible, and ultraviolet UV light regions. Varying the actual film thickness d , the film index of refrac-1 tion, or the angle of incidence by "1%, "1%, and "0.2ะŠ, respectively, will cause errors within acceptable limits.
