The rapid, efficient electron beam-induced cationic polymerization of multifunctional epoxy monomers has been carried out in the presence of diaryliodonium and triarylsulfonium salts. These polymerizations take place at low doses ( 1-3 Mrad) , which make them attractive for commercial applications.
The curing kinetics of a system containing 4,4-diglycidyloxy-a-methylstilbene (DOMS) and different functionality amines, N-ethylaniline (NEA), aniline, benzenesulfonamide (BSA), and sulfanilamide (SAA), have been studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) under isothermal conditions. The pha
