Subnormal growth in length and diameter of the duodenum is encountered both in chick embryos injected with thiourea at 11 days of incubation, and in embryos injected with cortisone acetate at 14 days of incubation. Morphogenesis of previllous ridges and villi is retarded in thiourea-treated embryos.

## Abstract The fibrinolytic activity of cells in culture varied with the type of serum employed in the growth medium. Degradation of iodinated fibrin occurred slowly when Rous sarcoma virusβtransformed chick embryo fibroblasts were grown in medium containing fetal bovine serum (FBS), and rapidly w
Fetal movement changes the size and location of amniotic fluid pockets during measurement of the amniotic fluid index. In singleton gestations, the effect of redistributing the fixed intrauterine fluid volume on the amniotic fluid index is clinically insignificant. In this study, we tested the hypot
## Abstract Chick embryo fibroblasts serially propagated in media containing division ratelimiting amounts of fetal bovine serum underwent premature culture senescence as illustrated by accelerated declines in the number of cells incorporating ^3^Hβthymidine, increased population doubling times, re
