โœฆ Synopsis

The formation temperature of Bi2Sr2Cal Cu2Oy superconductor decreases dramatically with an alkaline metal addition, and the Tc value rises with incorporation of a smaller alkaline ion, such as Li. For the nominal composition of Bi22SrLsCalCuL2Lio.sOy, To.mid of 94 K in the R-Tcurve and Tc of 98 K in the Meissner effect have been obtained even by sintering at very low temperature, 710 ยฐ C, accompanying the formation of the nearly single 2212 phase.
