Poly (3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) synthesized by oxidative polymerization was fractionated by molecular weight by using organic solvents. The fraction of higher average molecular weight gave higher regioregularity and conductivity. Composites of the P3HT fraction having the highest molecular weight wer

## This paper deals with the relation between polymerization time and poly(p-phenylene) (PPP) yield in the synthesis of PPP by the Kovacic method. It is found that the reaction is uniform in the polymerization time range of less than 2 hr, with a PPP yield of up to about 60%, and then the yield in

## Abstract Poly(3,3‐phthalidylidene‐4,4′‐biphenylylene) (PPB) was considered to be a polymer containing pressure‐sensitive moieties as repeating units in the main chain. The effect of pressure on the properties of PPB was studied. Thin films of the undoped polymer were found to become conductive u
