The effects of adrenaline and noradrenaline infusions on pancreaticoduodenal venous insulin output were studied in anaesthetized normal dogs. Two experimental protocols were used. In the first, the dogs had a normal blood glucose level at the start of the catecholamine infusion (normoglycaemic dogs)
