The effects of 60 Co ␥-radiation on the properties of poly(hydroxybutyrateco-hydroxyvalerate) (PHBV), including the chemical, mechanical, and thermal properties, were investigated. Molecular weight of the irradiated PHBV as measured using a Ubbelohde-type capillary viscometer decreased significantly
