✦ Synopsis

Following the growing adoption of SI units throughout the technical community, it is considered timely for us to follow the trend. While this conversion to an international practice is warranted, there are practical difficulties during transition although, in fracture, it appears that relatively few quantities might be affected. We request therefore that our authors begin to introduce the international system by immediately incorporating this practice into all Report8 of Current Research.
