โฆ Synopsis
COLOGY is pleased to present the results of a working conference on the subject of poor prognosis leukemia, which was held in October, 1985 at the Catholic University in Rome. Publication of these proceedings is designed to make them more generally available and to help sharpen the focus on this important aspect of c h i l d h d acute lymphoblastic leukemia. In many respects, of course, the same problems and considerations exist for ALL in the adult.
Somewhat special for the publication of a conference proceedings is the inclusion of a summary statement which includes recommendations which are provided to help fur-ther our understanding, documentation, and reporting of the results of therapy for children with unfavorable prognosis ALL. The Journal would welcome letters of comment for consideration of publication about the issues raised in this conference and the resulting recommendations.
