โฆ Synopsis
The year 1995/96 has seen a slight increase in the number of papers received. Authorship continues to show a world-wide distribution although the proportion of BGRG members has fallen from 36% to 28%. Subscription rates will rise in 1997 for both full and member categories accompanied by an increase from 11 to 12 issues per year excluding the Technical and Software Bulletin.
130 papers have been received this year, including 20 for two special issues. Papers have come in steadily, but with two major peaks in Oct-Nov 1995 and June-Sept 1996. A quarter of the papers received came in the first period and 37% between June and September 1996 and therefore some papers are still with referees and editors. Of the fate of the remainder 26% have been accepted, 36% rejected and 38% are in revision.
