During these times of uncertainty and rapid change, I am reminded of how resilient the human spirit is-and how fragile. I have seen counselors in many settings volunteer their time and energy to reach out to others in need. I have also seen clients simply reaching out for anyone who will believe in them. I am struck by how much a counselor can do for others-and by how much more remains to be done.

For that benefit, I thank each contributor to JCC. You have volunteered your time and energy to inform others through your writing, and your work is making a difference.
