โฆ Synopsis
Over the past 12 months, changes have been made in Head & Neck, some minor and others more substantive, including new Editorial Board appointments and the journal's strengthened peer-review process. Charged with this latter responsibility are the newly appointed Associate Editors. Time will determine the full effect and benefit of these changes, but I am already impressed with the Associate Editors' selection of referees and the quality of reviews. Hopefully, the new review process will be reflected in high-quality published articles.
I would like to sincerely thank all the past and present members of the Editorial Board who have made Head & Neck the journal it is today and who have supported me during the editorial transition. In particular, I would like to thank the authors who have submitted manuscripts for consideration to Head & Neck and to the following reviewers who spend their time and effort to ensure that what is published meets the highest standards of the literature.
