✦ Synopsis


For the economic principle on proΓΏt in the crisp sense, the proΓΏt is maximum when the marginal revenue equals the marginal cost. For the linear (or quadratic) demand and cost functions, we consider the case when their coe cients are fuzzy numbers. Then we use the extension principle to explain this principle used in the fuzzy sense. These results are extensions of the crisp case.
