## Abstract In this paper, we consider some approaches to spatio‐temporal modeling of environmental data obtained from an heterogeneous network. Besides discussing modeling details for spatio‐temporal dynamics and calibration of different instruments, we consider crossvalidation issues and extensi

✦ Synopsis
The purpose of this article is to develop an open and user-configurable system to perform continuous monitoring of exhaust gases produced by boilers and industrial furnaces on a paper and pulp factory. We used a client-server system running LabVIEW under Windows NT and 95: three clients with DAQ and SCXI connected to the sensors and one server application linked to a Microsoft Access database and Microsoft Excel via OLE.

## Abstract Statistical control chart is commonly used in the industry to help ensure stability of manufacturing process and it can also be used to monitor the environmental data, such as industrial waste or effluent of manufacturing process. However, control chart needs to be modified if the set o
