In 1966 Saeed and Fine added 4 cases of xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis to the 31 cases previously reported. Since then, numerous cases have been reported. With this in mind, we are reporting a case of xanthogranulomatous cholecystitis, which has never before been reported in a n ultrasound journal.
