1938 Ebro is a fictionalized approximation to the biggest battle of the Spanish Civil War that took place in the lower reaches of the Ebro valley and that developed during the months of July to November 1938. This historical novel is highly documented and, in turn, committed to a peculiar and even risky literary style: it's coral, changes perspective constantly to focus their attention on the different historical characters involved, to almost hear what happens in the trenches and fronts on both sides. This form also allows the author to tell the narrative metering voltage to generate moments of tranquility in those days of intense battles such as distressing by nature. In this novel there is room for love, for friendship, for heroism born of pain and hope of the people.
