โœฆ Synopsis

This is the first part of a two-part article addressing Davanloo's method of deactivating unconscious defiance and related transference phenomena. This paper focuses on the application of these techniques within the early phases of Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy, especially within the initial interview or ``trial therapy''. Part II of this article will examine a clinical vignette illustrating the detailed application of these techniques.
