✦ Synopsis
The dynamical behavior of kink solutions of the ¢4 equation are studied for various external perturbations. We have shown that the soliton achieves a terminal velocity, which was determined by the ratio of the force field to the damping coefficient, in the presence of a constant force and damping. The dynamic polarizability of the kink is calculated.
