## Abstract The first argentate salt of carborane anion, [{(CH~3~CN)~4~Ag~3~}{Ag(CB~11~I~5~Br~6~)~2~}]~__n__~, was prepared from K~2~[CB~11~I~5~Br~6~] and AgNO~3~ followed by recrystallization from acetonitrile. Single‐crystal X‐ray analyses indicate that the CB~11~I~5~Br~6~^2−^ dianion has a signi
