✦ Synopsis

In this paper, the dynamic stability of shallow structures such as arches and curved panels under stochastically fluctuating loads is studied. Sufficient conditions guaranteeing the almost-sure stability in both symmetric modes and unsymmetric modes of deformation are obtained first by Infante's method. Necessary and sufficient conditions are determined by evaluating the largest Lyapunov exponent of the perturbed solution.
