Abstract

Solution structures of some pentavalent organogermanium compounds have been investigated. Variable temperature NMR studies of these compounds revealed that concomitant Berry pseudorotation and prototropy occur, which make the two protons of the CH~2~ moiety nonequivalent at lower temperatures.
