A dynamic computational model for the vehicle and track coupling system is developed by means of finite element method in this paper. In numerical implementation, the vehicle and track coupling system is divided into two parts; lower structure and upper structure. The vehicle as the upper structure

✦ Synopsis
As it is known, track transportation can be divided into track system above and track system below. While the train is moving, the parts above and below are subject to interaction and in#uence. The shortcoming of dynamic analysis in the past cannot usually re#ect how the substructure of track including subgrade a!ects the running train. The analysis mentioned above indicates that the track damage involves not only the failure in strength of components but also the overdeformation or intolerable settlement of the system below track. So, in connection with the train running, taking track}subgrade as a part of vibration structure of the vehicle model, a vehicle}subgrade model of vertical coupled system has been presented. In this paper, the interactions between the vehicle running quality and the subgrade design parameters have been investigated in systematic concept and from the viewpoint of systematic matching.

## Abstract A dynamic longitudinal internal conductivity model, derived from the classical method of moments, is applied to the analysis of recent simulation data and reflectivity measurements of shock‐compressed dense xenon plasmas. This model satisfies both the non‐zero __f__–sum rule and the sec
The vertical dynamic responses of a simply supported bridge subjected to a moving train are investigated by means of the modal analysis method. Each vehicle of train is modelled as a four-degree-offreedom mass-spring-damper multi-rigid body system with a car body and two wheelsets. The bridge, toget
