## Abstract The effects of various carriers on the color yield of poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) filaments in a disperse dyeing system were investigated. The dyeability of disperse dyes on PVC fiber was improved using appropriate carriers. The enhancement of dye uptake imparted by carriers coincided wi

Abstract
Like all basic dyes, azatrimethinecyanines possess a good dyeing affinity for acrylic fibers. Compounds with isolated nitrogen atoms in the trimethine chain show insufficient light fastness, whereas good to excellent fastness to light is displayed by compounds having neighboring nitrogen atoms in the chain. Thus, a working hypothesis stating that the light fastness of trimethinecyanines on acrylic fibers is improved by progressive replacement of methine groups by nitrogen atoms has been partially confirmed.

## Abstract Dyeing of synthetic fibers by the heat transfer process of disperse dye vapors is performed by contacting white receptor polyester or polyamide fabric with other dyed polyester fabrics (donor) under the influence of heat. The dye vapours flowing away will diffuse across the very slight
Acrylic fibers are among the most useful synthetic fibers for textile applications, and special acrylic fiber (SAF) has industrial applications. The physical and mechanical properties of fiber are affected by several parameters; one such parameter is coagulation conditions: bath temperature, bath co
The chemical modification of poly(acrylonitri1e) was carried out using monoethanolamine and lðylenediamine. The effect of the reaction conditions on the content of basic groups was studied. Polymer analogous reactions were carried out by varying the amount of the starting reagents and the tempera
