NR Koeling in filter partnership with AirManager Marine
N R Koeling, a manufacturer of air conditioning systems for luxury yachts, is to integrate AirManager Marine's filtration systems into their equipment for new build and refit projects.
"We have been searching for a solution which will kill germs and reduce odours at the higher air speeds our systems are capable of delivering," explained René van Herpen, NR Koeling's sales engineer for HVAC and Refrigeration. "It also reduces the back pressure in comparison with standard filter types and therefore saves energy which helps us in our innovating quest to make the HVAC system on yachts more green."
The first dual technology project is currently in development, with vessel launch scheduled for the middle of 2012. Eight air handler units and nine exhaust vent ducts will be fitted with custom made AirManager equipment.
