✦ Synopsis


We report the frequency stabilization of two DBR continuous laser diodes using the two polarization-independent transfer functions of a birefringent optical fiber ring interferometer. The generation of a frequency-stabilized multi-gigahertz microwa¨e carrier is achie¨ed, without any local oscillator. We experimentally demonstrate the interest of using a single birefringent fiber interferometer for the frequency noise reduction of a laser and the frequency difference stabilization between the two lasers.
