✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A novel design of a dual‐frequency antenna capacitively fed by a coplanar waveguide is presented. The proposed antenna is constructed by a rectangular slot loop antenna and a rectangular slot antenna, both coupled to each other, and which have the same CPW feed. The two resonant frequencies of the proposed antenna are decided, respectively, by the dimensions of the two slot antennas. Designs of the proposed dual‐frequency slot antenna are described, and typical experimental results are demonstrated and discussed. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract A wideband coplanar waveguide (CPW)‐fed monopole antenna is presented, which is derived from a dual folded‐strip antenna. By meandering the folded strips, good antenna performances such as wideband with 4.07 GHz, defined from −10 dB return loss, average gain of ≥4.5 dBi, and stable mono
## Abstract In this study, it is shown how dual‐band performance can be achieved from a single coplanar‐waveguide‐fed slot by using an impedance matching design approach. The coplanar‐waveguide‐fed slot is connected to a high‐impedance coplanar‐waveguide transmission line stub terminated with a cap
