## Abstract A dual‐resonant patch antenna applicable to active radio frequency identification (RFID) tags is designed. The designed antenna has been skillfully integrated with the active RFID tag circuit. The antenna consists of two parts. One part comprises stacked shorted patches and a ground pla

Abstract
The proposed dual‐feeding active integrated antenna suppresses the third harmonics and isolates the Tx signal at the Rx ports to a high degree. The characteristics of the measured results are provided and the transmitted output power of the 2 × 2 array for the spatial power combining effect is calculated. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
