Abstract
A dual‐modulation scheme to simultaneously transmit broadband signals on both baseband (BB) and millimeter‐wave RF carriers over optical fiber links is proposed and demonstrated. The key parameters of this technique are optimized for achieving the best performance in Gbit/s wireless millimeter‐wave fiber networks. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
