Due to a typographical error, k v 1 and k v 2 should be read as k v1 and k v2 , respectively, wherever they appear in the text body. The representations of the equations are correct, with the exception of the equations in Table 1. The correct table can be seen below.
Another typographical error appeared in the first paragraph of the theory section where "velocity encoding" on the left hand side of the equals sign should be replaced with VENC. The sentence concerned should appear as: "The first gradient moments are related to the velocity encoding range (VENC) according to VENC ϭ /(␥⌬M 1 ) [m s Ϫ1 ], where ⌬M 1 is the net first gradient moment of the two scan segments and ␥ is the gyromagnetic ratio".
