Peter Hathaway has a terrible secret...
Peter's wife, Emma, has soured of sex, romance, and touching. It seems she's soured of their marriage. Peter escapes his troubles by visiting Dream Escapes, a virtual reality dream machine that makes your dreams seem very real. While dreaming, he meets and falls in love with the beautiful and seductive, Kim. "I'm not cheating." Peter tells himself. "Kim isn't real. She's just a dream." The Dream Escape fulfills everything Peter's life is lacking--incredible sex, passionate love, and adventurous romance. Then the new nanny arrives at Peter's home. Shay looks, acts, and talks exactly like Kim.

As the days and weeks pass, strange things begin to happen, and Peter comes to the realization that Kim has somehow come out of his dream, and into his life to claim him.
His dream lover is not beyond doing anything to get him back. She's killed before. Does he risk telling his wife, Emma, the truth, and possibly losing his marriage? Or does he sink to doing something a bit more... deadly. Peter becomes desperate, knowing if he refuses her advances, she just might kill them all?
