Closed-form solutions are obtained for the stress and die pressure distributions, time andflow rate8 for drawing and extruding superplastic cylinders through a cone-shaped die with Coulomb friction. Numerical examples are presented graphically and the po88ible existence of a maximum limit for area reduction in the drawing process ie pointed out and discussed.
