Radiologists in many parts of the world will be saddened to learn of the recent sudden death of Dr. Kendall M. Mayo. Ken, as he was known to a large circle of friends, was a radiologist from Auckland, New Zealand and an inveterate traveller. He was a staunch and regular supporter of the International Skeletal Society and contributed excellent papers to our Closed Meetings and Refresher Courses as well as Chairing some Meetings. We all enjoyed meeting him as recently as last September in Madrid when he was his ususal energetic, cheerful serf.
