The Trelleborg Group has signed an agreement with the European Investment Bank covering a long-term loan for E80 million. The loan is intended to finance a part of the firm's expenditure for selected research and development projects in number of European countries, extending into 2012. These projects focus on the further development of advanced polymer technology and related products that are used, for example, in sealing applications in demanding environments.
