## Abstract Hepatic ABC efflux transporters control the cellular uptake (in basolateral membranes) and excretion (in apical membranes) of many substrates. Since typeβ1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) is associated with altered hepatobiliary excretion of many endogenous and exogenous substances, we examine
