price increases for its RPS Vantage (slurry) and RPD Vantage (dry) rutile-type pigments designed for use by North American papermakers. The increases were $0.04 and C$0.06 per pound. Millennium announced a similar price increase on 17 March.

In turn, Ampacet -one of the world's largest customers for TiO 2 in the plastics sector -announced that it had increased its prices for masterbatches containing TiO 2 , by $0.05 per pound.
