✦ Synopsis

The design of a DCEFC with an exchangeable generator electrode made of a thin film of a pure oxide deposited on a conductive substrate is described. The cell was tested with Pt, and applied to the investigation of the oxygen reduction reaction (err) on film or pure copper manganite cu 1 +.Mn,_,O, (0 c x c 0.4) spray deposited on nickel. The kinetics depends on the copper content, but is invariant with the electrode potential.

## Abstract We report here the electrocatalytic reduction of oxygen on thin anthraquindisulfonate (AQDS)/poplypyrrole (PPy) composite film modified electrodes and its application to the electrooxidation of azo dye‐amaranth. The polymer‐coated cathode exhibited good electrocatalytic activity towards
