o-Bromophenyl ally1 ether and N-ally1 o-bromoacetanilide reacted with tributyltin hydride in the presence of activated olefin compounds to give 2,3dihydrobenzofuran and 2,3-dihydroindole derivatives in modest yields via both intramolecular and intermolecular radical carbon-carbon bond formations.
