This study evaluated the efficacy and side‐effects of plain ropivacaine compared with ropivacaine–lidocaine and bupivacaine–lidocaine mixtures for peribulbar blocks in cataract surgery. Ninety patients were randomly allocated to three groups and received peribulbar blockade using one of the three so
