Three investigations were made into the pharmacokinetics of propranolol when added to the existing phenothiazine regime of patients with schizophrenia.

The plasma level was found to depart from a linear relation with dose range 80-1500rag daily. The peak-totrough half time was found to increase with increasing dose, and the half life of propranolol was also found to be dosedependent.
