Years ago, Jordan's great grandfather worked the Dorado gold claim deep in the forest, before he vanished without a trace. Now, she's hiking out with her kid brother and sister, her father and his new fiancée. It's supposed to be a fun trip, an opportunity for everyone to bond.
The first signs are in the trees, strange structures made with uprooted saplings and snapped branches. Then there's the eerie, heavy quiet, and the river with no fish. Dorado never belonged to Jordan's great grandfather.
