The (0 -0) band of the B ˜2A 1 -X ˜2A 1 transition of CaOCH 3 at 565 nm has been recorded and analyzed at Doppler limited resolution (FWHM ϭ 0.005 cm Ϫ1 ). The molecule was generated using a laser ablation/molecular beam source in which a solid calcium rod was ablated and a mixture of argon seeded w
