β¦ Synopsis
Linear and mass regression rotes of four styrene--polyester cross-linked copelymers have been evaluated experimentally at atmospheric and at 50 psia pressure. The data confirm our earlier observation [ 1] that the attack of oxidizer atoms/radicals after diffusing through the thin flame zone within the turbulent boundary layer plays a predominant role during heterogeneous combustion of these polymers.
