## Abstract Colchicine resistant (CH^R^) lines of stable phenotype have been isolated from cultured Chinese hamster (CHO) cells. Successive single‐step selections for increasing resistance were performed by isolating resistant colonies at each step. Two complementary assays involving [^3^H] colchic
