✦ Synopsis
Roughening of domain walls in ttu'ee dimensional random field Ising magnets is investigated at zero temperature using exact combinatorial optimization [1]. Systems are studied up to L 3 = 2163 with the largest systems L > 120 calculated using a parallel version of the min-cut/max-flow algorithm [2]. We study both bimodal and Gaussian RF-distributions. The interface roughness exponent ~ is found to be close to 0.75, slightly in excess of analytical estimates [3,4]. The domain wall energy and its fluctuations are studied within the domain wall renormalization group picture. This enables us to compare the energy fluctuation exponent 0 with the in 3D expected scaling relation 2~ = 0.
