โœฆ Synopsis

This paper deals with the development of decomposition of domains methods related to the discretization, by collocation-interpolation methods, of continuous models described by nonlinear partial differential equations. The objective of this paper is to show how generalized collocation and domain decomposition methods can be applied for problems where different models are used within the same domain.

Angiogenesis, the formation of blood vessels from a pre-existing vasculature, is a process whereby capillary sprouts are formed in response to externally supplied chemical stimuli. The sprouts then grow and develop, driven initially by endothelial-cell migration, and organize themselves into a dendr

DNA junctions, known as Holliday junctions, are intermediates in genetic recombination between DNAs. In this structure, two double-stranded DNA helices with similar sequence are joined at a branch point. The branch point can move along these helices when strands with the same sequence are exchanged.
