β¦ Synopsis
Angstrom brings portable H 2 power for real users E arly in 2006, Vancouver-based Angstrom Power will launch the G2 micro-hydrogen charger and R1 refueling station. The company believes that the G2 charger, intended primarily for demonstration and evaluation, is one of the world's first demonstrations of handheld hydrogen-powered devices.
The company's portable G2 micro-hydrogen charger device will be a 2 We, 5 V fuel cell system with on-board hydrogen storage and power conditioning electronics. Among the unit's features is a USB connection, to permit convenient recharging of portable electronic devices including cell phones, PDAs and digital cameras.
Angstrom's R1 refueling station will be used to refuel fuel cell devices (including the G2 microhydrogen charger). Up to three devices can be refueled simultaneously and be ready for operation within minutes. The R1 refueling station can be used with fixed hydrogen sources, and because of its integrated hydrogen storage, it can also be used in the field on a stand-alone basis.

Logistics and transportation decision support systems rely on models of travel distance for evaluating scenarios and estimating costs. This paper presents a new method to model travel distances that combines the accuracy of shortest path travel with the simplicity of a distance approximation. The di
The yeast one-hybrid system (1H-system) is applied to studies of transcription-linked DNA-protein interactions under in vivo conditions detected by reporter gene expression. By use of a variant of green fluorescent protein (GFP) as a reporter, the new 1H-system generation represents a time-and work-
