Recently recovered from tetrodotoxin poisoning, British secret agent James Bond is sent to Jamaica to probe the disappearance of Commander John Strangeways, the head of MI6's Station J. Picking up Strangeways's investigation into the mysterious Dr. Julius No, Bond infiltrates No's closely-guarded island only to discover that the doctor's secrets are deeper and more deadly than anyone had forseen.

Dr. No is the sixth title in the James Bond spy series. It was adapted for a 1962 film starring Sean Connery as James Bond.
