In the title compound, C 4 H 6 N 2 O 2 S.Á3H 2 O, the 2-amino-2thiazoline-4-carboxylic acid molecule is in a zwitterionic form and shows amino±imino tautomerism. There are intermolecular OÐHÁ Á ÁO, OÐHÁ Á ÁN, NÐHÁ Á ÁO and CÐHÁ Á ÁO interactions, forming a three-dimensional network.
