## Abstract Our study examines a 5βyear data set of erythemal ultraviolet radiation (EUV) collected at four locations in Thailand: Chiang Mai (18.78Β°N, 98.98Β°E), Ubon Ratchathani (15.25Β°N, 104.87Β°E), Nakhon Pathom (13.82Β°N, 100.04Β°E) and Songkhla (7.20Β°N, 100.60Β°E). β¦ Synopsis
Global solar radiation patterns in Bangi (2Β°56'7.3"N, I05Β°47'0.2"E), Malaysia are discussed. The frequency of occurrence of the various solar radiation patterns observed over a 5-year period is derived. These observations will provide useful information for the design of solar energy systems and equipment for installation in tropical countries having a similar global solar radiation pattern.

## Abstract Although ultraviolet B radiation (UVB), the solar radiation band between 280 and 315 nm, is only a small fraction of the extraterrestrial solar radiation, it accounts for 80% of the harmful effects of exposure to the sun. In this work values of erythemal solar irradiance (UVER) measured
This paper describes several analyses in which a robust method, namely the least median of squares (LMS) has been used in the development of a mathematical model to relate suspended particulate air pollution concentration to meteorological factors. The robust procedure provides a formal method that
